It's a possibility he still ends up on waivers this fall but you know the Canucks will exhaust every opportunity to avoid egg on their faces with this one. That said Desjardins is as close to Hartley as it gets when it comes to young players earning their ice time so the kid better plan on putting in a lot of work this summer.
