I don't mind if it's more politics and less mafia, I actually enjoy that. We're all at different points so its hard to explain but it seems very disjointed so far. There have been uninteresting characters introduced, some who are flat out boring, dull.
Spoilers for up to Chapter 34
Good quality characters are seemingly swapped out willy nilly, the Republican leader was up and changed. I get that those things happen but he was a good foil for the Underwood's and wham, he's gone. The reporter was seemingly removed so someone who is supposed to be more hardened but comes as across as annoying.
The story and characters just aren't as strong.
I'm enjoying it but it hasn't sucked me in life the first two seasons.
