No issues at all with how the Flames managed him. They gave him plenty of opportunity and Sven even saw some success on a few of those opportunities. The problem is he started to plateau while his peers around him passed him on the depth chart.
Not too worried about moving him and going by 'what have you done for me lately', a 2nd is a decent return.
But sheesh, Treliving couldn't find any other takers besides Vancouver? Really? Treliving's not an idiot, so I'm guessing he's of the opinion that the likelihood of Baertschi doing anything is close to zero. But, boy it still has some potential to really blow up in his face.
