Sven was ruined by that 5 game callup and Feaster hype train. He then seemed to develop an entitled attitude and never clicked with Hartley and the new regime. I do fear he is a player that needed a change of scenery and will do well in Vancouver
Also I do think Vancouver is making some nice moves in their retool. Moving Kesler got them younger and added a good prospect in McCann. They basically traded 30 year old Dman for 22 year old Vey. With Vey, Horvat, Baertschi, Kassian,Sbisa, Tanev they have some decent roster players under 25 as well as Shinkaurak, McCann, and Virtanen as prospects they have turned it around quickly with some decent young forwards.

someone on the TSN panel pointed it out today but the Canucks have picked up a lot of under 23 year old talent the past 2 years without going a full tank, having really just the 1 bad year
went on to say how bad it looks for Edmonton who has been so bad for so long and is still on the decline, while Calgary, Vancouver, and Winnipeg are all looking better now and have more pieces coming in the future
