I am very disappointed. This group earned more substantial support, particularly in the wake of the Giordano injury. They are amazingly in a playoff spot today and the GM didn't accomplish anything to support that, which I find unfortunate. I understand the rebuild mentality and building for the future - he certainly did some good work in that department. But the team is in a playoff spot right now and my goal as a fan of a team that misses the playoffs more often than it doesn't, is to make the playoffs. I feel that there were ways to help support the current group without severely hampering the future, maybe using one or two picks or prospects. No clue what the options were, but feel very disappointed that management essentially waved the red flag on the season.

I do, however, believe this current group could prove all that wrong. That said, their recent play has not inspired much confidence and of course the loss of Giordano. This is where management could have come in and supported and the root of my disappointment
