Then maybe it was best for us to trade him to Vancouver then. His stock fell in 13/14, and maybe it just stayed the same value in 14/15 (don't think he regressed or improved). Considering he wasn't going to resign with us in the offseason, grabbing a 2nd rounder is a great move.
