No. Not all the time. But sometimes I am just so goddamned irritable.
Anyhow... I have always been a big fan of Baertschi's, and while my enthusiasm has certainly been tempered in recent months, I had still hoped this year that he could crack the lineup, and secure a spot in the top nine.
How will the change of scenery affect him? I think he immediately benefits for moving to an organisation where he is not buried so deep behind Vancouver's collection of prospects. He will probably be given every opportunity to grab a permanent spot on the NHL roster next year. But I am more inclined to think that the long-term potential he once had is more and more likely a faint hope.
