I always thought going to the media is a last resort. Sure Burke has an itchy trigger finger with going public on a player he's found foul with but to think that what Burke said was the first time Sven heard it is delusional. Burke and management would have delivered that message to Sven multiple, multiple times before they ripped him publicly. That was clearly a last straw.
Which means that it's on Sven.
