I've thought for a while now that Baertschi could be a Colborne/Russell type pick up for another team eventually, up against waiver eligibility has quite forces his way onto the roster, but still to highly rated to be waived. Hopefully he has a bad camp gets claimed off waivers and explodes with a team other than Vancouver.

As for the return I thought it was OK, I would have be disappointed if it was a 2017 pick. I would have been vary happy if it was the 2nd this year + the 3rd in 2017 that seemed to be briefly rumored. I guess we landed somewhere in the middle, so just OK.
