He should have never made the team coming out of the 2013 training camp.
Had a terrible development camp, terrible training camp, and was not that good over the first 25 games that year.
Feaster kept him up as "his guy" and then Burke had to send him down after firing Feaster, driving the wedge between Burke and Sven even deeper.
I think it would have been completely different if Sven had been sent down right away that year and had been sent a message right away that he needed to be better and wasn't going to be handed a spot.
The way it all ended up happening with Feaster being fired and then Burke/Hartley sending it down just made Sven think "I was good enough, Burke just doesn't like me."
