Seriously though, this isn't as bad as everyone's making it out to be. You can't just say "OMG we traded a 1st rounder for a 2nd rounder". We traded a questionable 1st rounder that was drafted under the previous GM who the current GM obviously doesn't want and who hasn't done jack at the NHL level. I like what the guy on the last page said, trade him before he becomes Nemisz and all we get for him is Kevin Westgarth
We should be dancing for joy that we got a 2nd round pick for him. I hope Sven Baertschi tears it up for the Canucks just like Tim Erixon did with the Rangers
