I think a first was an overpayment for Vermette and would have been even more so for Glencross. He is a good role guy, but not a top line winger. A decent second line guy and 3rd liner on a good team. He never broke 50 points and only 20 goals twice. I think he gets overrated a lot on this board because he has a huge heart, and while that may be a big thing for teams like the Flames, I don't think that puts him in first round pick territory.
