Benzodiazepines (ativan, xanax, Valium, etc) act just like alcohol with regards to reaction times. Despite counselling to not drive, I'd say many still do. Most methadone patients drive, in fact some do for a living (though as a maintenance drug one wouldn't expect a difference in reaction times I'd guess)
