never did I think this thread would take off to a serious discussion about moving from place A to B.
However since it has, I'll just throw my two cents in about my personal situation on the topic:
I actually do want to move, meet new people, see a new city, and have new experiances. *If* I was offered a job in New York I don't know if I'd take it, however if I was offered a job in Calgary, Ottawa, or Halifax I wouldn't think too hard about it, I'd probably think harder if I was offered a job at home. I need a change, I need something different.
But alas, most people took my serious setup as just that serious, and read but didn't register the fact that the job offer was for GM of the NY Islanders
