If Lilly can keep the way he's playing the Jays rotation might be okay the rest of the way.
Since the start of June, Lilly's had 8 starts and 7 have been very solid (ERA under 4.50 for the game). If he can keep up that kind of production he's a very good #3. Add in the fact that Chacin is expected to be back for August 8-9 and that fills a major hole in the bottom of the rotation. Chacin has struggled this year, but he's proven he can put up quality starts at a major league level for an extended period of time - something Janssen hasn't been able to do.
If anything I'd see if Janssen can turn it around and if Marcum is the real deal before making a deal. If both of them falter, try and find a cheap veteran arm to shore up the #5 spot for the stretch run.
