I use a IMAC at work, it is awesome!!

It will take about 30 minutes to get used to the interface, but it is very similar to windows. The main reaosn to buy a Mac is that they are far far far far far less prone to viruses and computer problems. Windows is such a flawed platform, with so many bugs etc. MAC's don't have these issues, and are less vulnerable to viruses because the majority of viruses are made for Windows.

Microsoft office works great as wee with the Mac, no compatibility issues i have seen yet.

Get one!!
