Math Camp: Fostering Real-world Problem Solving Skills!
Problem solving and critical thinking are essential skills for 21st Century learners. In this day camp, participants will engage in fun, meaningful, and relevant mathematical problems that will teach them to think like little mathematicians. Participants will play with mathematical ideas in ways that help them see and understand how math connects to the world around them as they solve real world problems. Campers will also develop their reasoning and collaboration skills while building their mathematical confidence. Participants will work at their own individual level and will be gently and strategically challenged to move beyond this. This camp is designed by and facilitated by a Mathematics Education Learning Specialist. There are a limited number of spaces in this camp.
