Yes, they both look to be on target for what they were expected to be.

But by pretty much all accounts, Bennett was expected to be better than Draisaitl. Edmonton made their pick based on current needs (despite the fact that they are no where near being competitive) instead of taking the best player.

Complete and total failure by the Oilers. Period. No homerism. No looking at it as rivals. The Oilers made a bad decision.
