Plus Maloney saying he'd like to retain contracts in trades because they have trouble signing players.
So maybe a larger Calgary/Arizona deal has included some veteran players on term contracts chatter and that's where the smoke is coming from.

I doubt OEL is going any where. He is a corner stone of the future. It would be counter productive to their rebuild to trade him and start looking again for a young number 1 D man, it would be like us moving Brodie. Its going to be Yandle and / or Michalek moving for some combo of Glencross, Granlund, Bart and / or picks, something along those lines.
Yandle makes the most sense he is offensive minded and fits with our offense through the D philosophy. He is young enough to still have 5 or 6 years in the tank but old enough that PHX would be willing to move him.
