Just something I've noticed about CP. There will a subject that is not on anyone's radar, never talked about. Something that would likely get very mixed opinions if Ottawa or Vancouver did it. Then someone in the Flames organization will mention it and all of a sudden it's a Very Important Thing and an unchallenged truth among fans. I call it 'follow that meme.'
Some other recent examples are the enormous influence of veterans inviting rookies live with them (something no other organizations do, apparently), the lack of relevance of strength and size if you're skilled enough (though we can still express skepticism at the lack of size of other team's players) and the incredible benefits of injured rookies spending a couple months watching how pros work out (which some believe may be even more beneficial than actually playing hockey).
