God, no kidding. I'm sure the Canadian government could have chartered a few cruise liners loaded with genuine filtered Colorado stream water, steak and lobster for the evacuees, provided they were willing to wait a month for all this to be ready.
They are bloody refugees evacuating a war zone. Like every other mass refugee exodus in history, the road to saftey is perilous and unpleasant. They should just be glad someone cared enough about them to rescue them.
