A team who isn't able to draft well outside of the 1st round isn't winning anything. It is vital to building a champion. Strong drafting outside of the 1st round is equally or more important than drafting well in the 1st round. Without either your not going to be an elite team. Drafting outside the 1st round is a lot tougher which is why teams stockpile picks to increase their odds.
