- True... I agree there
- i think Hartley gave out ice time based upon many things, such as chemistry of players, depth, who is playing well recently etc.
Honestly all I saw from Glencross's comments were that he wants more ice time.... I don't think thats a issue for any GM suiter.

To be clear, I don't have an issue with a player speaking his mind, telling the truth. Some of my fav athletes are favs because they do...
I guess I didn't convey my meaning clearly...In my opinion (and it's just that, for what it's worth), Glencross is not a true Top 6 forward deserving of more minutes. I think there's quite a discrepancy about the player Glencross
thinks he is versus the
reality of what he is as a player today.
Hope he proves me wrong, goes out with reckless abandon and plays the optimal game he can play, maximizes his trade value and Treliving able to convert that into something golden for the Flames' future.
At his most effective (and uninjured), on a good team, I think he's an effective 3rd line player - who can get streaky and chip in offensively; maybe fill in on upper lines in event of injury.
I can't pretend to know all the inner workings of what else might be in play, be it his relationship with latest management/coaching personnel.
Maybe he does get dealt to a true Cup contender, maybe he makes an impact on that squad, but I can't imagine there's a more fun team to be a part of than the Flames right now and throughout this season - obviously it's the not the case for Curtis.
