I think Riccardi has done a great job. A lot of babies playing in the league anymore, and he has built the Jays into a team picked to contend against the Yankees and BoSox. I believe that is an amazing job.
I'm wondering if Free agency hasn't been the bane of MLB, not because of the skyrockting costs, but because of the sense of entitlement a number of pro-players seem to be exhibiting.
Josh Beckett gets a 3 year $30,000,000 contract and says "...its a deal that gives me security..." ;like his $4,325,000 this year and again next year wasn't enough.
