Burke indicated on Jack FM this morning that the Flames went to Glencross' agent to talk extension, and the numbers did not work for the Flames. He indicated that those numbers might work for another team in the summer, but not for the Flames. The conversation did not go any further throughout the season. As a result, Treliving asked for a list for trade potential, and it sounds like Glencross complied, starting with a list of one and since expanding.
I think everyone is treating the situation very professionally. Too bad it made it in the media, but Glencross was just answering a direct question, so I don't killl him for that.
Should be win-win, if the Flames can extract some value, and Glencross gets a legitimate shot at the cup.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
