There are a few questions raised regarding Glencross asking to be traded. Why would he ask? If the guy likes playing in Alberta and the Flames are as promising as they've been since he's arrived, why would he ask to move?
If he did actually ask to be traded, the only decent reason I can think of is that the Flames won't give him the contract he wants and he'd like to try out another team before signing with them in the off-season.
But if this 10+ teams being interested jargon is real, that's exciting. The Flames could realistically get a B level Defense prospect + 2nd round pick for Glencross.
