C'mon man, that is bunk. Running him out of town? I haven't seen anyone say "this guy sucks, don't care the return, get rid of him now". Pretty much every post about trading him is
IF the price is right. No one is talking buyout or anything along those lines. Glenny was a great player here for years and got one of the best nicknames from fans ever. No one is discounting his years of service, however you can't turn a blind eye to his play this year. He has been effectively passed by a rookie & a 3rd year player on the depth chart (hell even Mason Raymond has out played him the last dozen games) and hasn't given any reason to warrant PP time. 0 points in his last 10 games & his worst point total / 82 GP in 5 years. If/when he is traded you probably won't find anyone here disparaging him, in fact I'd say most will wish him well and root for him on his new team (as long as they're not playing the Flames). Curtis was a very good player here for years who took a discount to stay here which is admirable. However, when you have NHL caliber players knocking on the door and you can get another asset back in a trade, that's just good player management.
