This is a fairly personal story but one I thought I should share. My girlfriend isn't really a hockey fan and always gives me a hard time about how much time I spend on CP, but after recent events... She wanted me to send out a CP shout out.

She is a first year law student who was currently in the process of applying for one of the first year articling positions. Calls were supposed to go out today starting at 5 PM (it's a very regulated process). Only 10% of first year students get a position. By 5:20 she figured that she was not selected (as they usually find out immediately at 5:00). Thinking of the Flames recent success with the "car pictures"... I decided to send her a text of a 1967 Corvette Stingray. She didn't understand how this could be my response and began to get annoyed. I started to explain why I sent the picture and she immediately had to stop me. She got her call from her number one firm and she got her job! She couldn't be happier and I couldn't be happier for her. The car picture luck charm strikes again!
