Again, that's just a very simple view, and doesn't account for the Flames contacting every team on his list or the fluidity of the situation.

i understand what you're saying but the likelihood of a trade is certainly over 50% with the way this situation's played out.
saying it won't because of the probability formula used above is a touch ridiculous.
In short, advanced stats suck again
