On a more general note, people that come up with these super-sweet trade scenarios where we would get a top-notch prospect along with some decent players and picks are day-dreaming. This is not a "fair market trade" from our perspective. Treliving is going to get whatever he can for Glencross in the next 10 days, because this train has gone. The player wants to move on and the player has all the strings to control the deal. If it's a 3rd pick, or even a high 4th pick from the team where Glencross wants to go, this will be done, I think, regardless of how low the fan-base may perceive the actual trade value. |
I disagree. I don't think we trade him unless we get a 2nd or better. And I think we get better than a 2nd.
