It will be interesting to see just what his value is. With 15 teams interested you know that in free agency he is likely going to field offers the Flames would never match so it appears that the relationship is coming to an end. A late 1st round pick or solid defenseman prospect would be sweet as that is best case but I expect a 2nd round pick is closer to reality.
As for Glencross seeing him moved would be bitter sweet as he's been a good soldier for this organization but the reality of the NHL is that organizations have to balance the books to ensure they will have cap room to retain their core of young players and with Stajan locked up there is only so much money to go around for players nearing their mid-30's. If the Flames are going to retain a veteran player I would rather it be Hudler than Glencross.
