The Raymond contract is fine... I have no problem with it.
I am also fine with Englelland. The contract will be off the books by the time it matters, and he was signed more for his positive influence so it really is hard to judge the value.
Diaz/Potter are just minimum wage depth.
The biggest positive for me is his patience. The one thing I dread when a new GM takes over is that they often want to immediately change things and put their mark on everything. I like that he came in respecting the work of his predecessors and is taking time to feel things out.
The only negative to me is Bollig.
Bollig for a 3rd was an overpayment. Not a huge set back for the team, but not great asset management either (considering both the 3rd round pick and the opportunity cost of finding someone better for that value or using the roster spot to train a prospect). I really want to like him though... seems like a good guy.
