If the Flames are so weak they need to rely on a rookie with no NHL games to squeak into the POs, I think they are in trouble.
Aside from that it seems you just want him in because it would be cool to see him and maybe he'd be a big factor. That's the "I want to see my new toy" factor. I don't think its time for an experiment, when the Flames are playing well as is. And he won't be in a position to make big contributions in one game, from the third or fourth line.
