Kessel is an elite scorer in the NHL, there's no question about it. I'd love a player like him on the Flames, but (and this is a huge but) that 8mil/year contract he's on is unbelievably awful. We'd have to really fleece the Leafs for me to want to trade for him. I'd assume the starting point would be Bennett/Monahan/Gaurdreau so a huge no thanks.
