The teams interested in Glencross will likely be looking to give up picks or prospects that currently aren't NHL ready. It wouldn't make sense for a team to ship out a young D that might be #6 or #7 on the depth chart when loading up for a playoff run. If the Flames trade Glencross it almost certainly won't make them better this season, which is a poor message to send to a team in the hunt.
