Kona has a few that might suit your tastes. A Caldera, Cinder Cone or Fire Mountain would probably work just fine. Kuwaharas tend to be on the cheap side. Santa Cruz only have 2 hard tail bikes, and I don't think either of them would be what you're looking for (not to mention they're probably a lot pricier).
How much are you looking to spend?
