Same goes for up front. A couple depth rentals (and keeping Glencross) is fine, as long as the price is fine. It's not about upsetting chemistry or deviating from the long term plan, its about getting NHL experience in the lineup in case of injuries, and giving some guys time off down the stretch.
The way this team has fought to this point to get where they are, IMO management owes the roster some depth to make this totally unexpected playoff dream a reality with 2 months to go in the season.

His point is the cost is more than we are willing to spend. We arent jepordizing the future for a rental. If the market is set at a 1st for a 2nd pair dman, I doubt we will bite unless its a hockey trade with term.
