Calgary cops have one man in custody following an early morning stabbing Sunday that sent three to hospital.

Police were called to the 200 block of 8 Ave. S.W., after witnesses reported people fighting.

One man in his early 20s was taken to hospital in serious, potentially life-threatening condition and two others were taken in stable condition.

As of Sunday afternoon, Sgt. Joe Hebert said “none appear to be life-threatening.”

A fourth person was treated at the scene for an unrelated matter, said Hebert.

“Initially we were just called for one patient, but it turned into four,” said EMS spokesperson Naomi Nania.
