I agree that asset management is important, including ELC contracts.

But that's not what was referenced here. Randorf (or Gally, whichever) was talking about 25 games - a reference to Bennett's Calder eligibility.

The Flames will consider what is best for Bennett long term. But I doubt very much they make a decision based on whether or not he is Calder eligible this year or next year.
