Ugh I hate the comparisons of Kane to Iginla (not just this forum, heard it lots over the years). Honestly, I think race has something to do with it. Personality wise they couldn't be more different, polar opposites. Also, Iginla's shot is way, way better and I'd argue his playmaking/vision is better. And that's comparing Iginla today to Kane today, much less Iginla at 24. Kane will never be Iginla, he will be lucky to get as many career points as Iginla has goals. If you wanted to say Kane's potential is a poor man's Iginla, yes I could see that. A very poor man's Iginla. We're talking about a top 100 player of all time vs an average 2nd liner. Oh but the potential... yes I'll believe it when I see it. Personally, I think Kane is his own worst enemy and he'll be lucky to get even one more 30+ goal season... he's easily one of the most overrated players since the 2005 lockout. Winnipeg won't be the last team to run the entitled prima donna out of town IMO.
