My facebook has blown up over how unsafe Halifax has become. I had one friend who now lives in Vancouver say he's happy he's in Vancouver as it's far safer than the Maritimes (yes, Vancouver's lower eastside is far safer than the mean streets of Summerside).
Isn't the police preventing crime the exact definition of safe?
