Jones is a #3 d man right now. I don't know his age off hand but have to think he is no more than 21. If you don't think he can improve to be a first pairing dman in the next 8-10 years , then I don't know what to tell you.
Sorry BiG Tuna , love your passion for your hockey club but I got to agree with the rest. Most GM's, if not all, would take the young D-man with first pairing abilities over a first line winger.
