That wheeler quote sounds like a random quote that could be taken as a few different things. Either on ice or off ice. PS - wearing a track suit has nothing to do with how someone plays. So im guessing Blake wasnt talking about Evander and if he was it has nothing to do with the tracksuit.
Still waiting for one person to explain why they dislike Kane without sounding a bit foolish and judgemental.

How can anyone be confused as to why their is hate/dislike for Kane?
The optics of the whole situation reflects poorly on Kane.
From the initial Sportsnet report on tracksuit gate, after having the "altercation" with Byfuglien, Kane couldn't be reached or contacted an hour before the game by anyone on the team. When finally he answered his phone, he told the team he wasn't coming to play.
Then the timing of the surgery is also very suspicious. He went from a 20 minute player a game to a "healthy" scratch to needing season ending surgery. His coach could have easily diffused the situation when asked if the locker room altercation was linked to Kane needing surgery. Instead he responded to the question "That's a question or Evander."
You won't find any facts or direct quotes to prove or disprove any of this as no one is willing to talk on the record, but the optics of the situation is that Kane had an altercation with a teammate and then decided he was done with the team in a middle of a playoff push.
Combine that with the stories and rumors that have been floating around Kane the last few years, Kane comes across with a negative persona in the majority of people's eyes.
