This article would disagree with you and provides solid, fact based data. Bogo and Myers are a virtual dead heat and depending on which stats you use (fancy stats) one is better than the other. Some people say its a wash, some say Bogo is better, others say Myers is better. I think its impossible for you to write here with authority and say that bogo isn't just better, but that it can't be disputed.

Well you can use stats if you like but that would just further my hypothesis that you don't watch Eastern teams (buffalo in particular) much.
Simple stats would tell you Phil Kessel is a top 10 player in the NHL. Fancy stats would tell you the Oilers are better than the Flames. Neither is true.
Will back down from the assertion that it can't be disputed. But the eye test will most likely reveal Bogosian to be the better player. Especially if you've watched Myers live rather than on TV.
The guy played his junior locally here and won a WHL championship so don't take this as a hate-on. But there's a lot of similarities to Phaneuf and their career trajectories have been the same - that is, to say they're headed in the wrong direction.
Maybe a fresh start will help Myers. But the Jets took on greater risk with swapping these two defenders (with potentially greater reward). Strange risk to take for a team that wants to make the playoffs right now. But there you go.
