Personally, I think the Railtown lands (10th Ave/ 4th SE) or the North end of Stampede Park near the casino along 12th Ave/ 4th SE) would be ideal.

Stampede Park has parking by virtue of being a fairground, it will also have the SELRT as well as a short walk to City Hall Station, which serves both the 201 and 202 LRT lines and would help disperse traffic following the game. At Sunalta, everyone would have to get on the same platform regardless of whatever line they're actually trying to go. Requires a transfer for many.

Remington Development owns Railtown, so it is private land. It also seems to make sense for stampede to have these facilities to help the goal to make the Park more of a year-round attraction, including a retail component. Retail at Stampede Park does not work without the anchor of an arena.
