The current morning show has none of those traits, it's a four hour clown show interrupted only by 15 minutes of quality Stephen Brunt-ness every tuesday and friday.
960 in general is bereft of on-air talent with the exception of Kerr and Steinberg, and if the higer-ups feel that the morning show is the flagship program I would like to see Steinberg take over.

All due respect to Steinberg... He's a hard working guy who s passionate about what he does, but that's not a good spot for him.
He's still a raw talent who can talk himself in circles. He'll get better but he's not ready.
A morning show needs to be light. All the successful ones on the radio have a basis in fluff. They also need a mixed cast with the straight guy, the goofball and 1 other element. You need to replace Boomer with a guy who can get laughs. Put Steinberg and Pinder together and Warrener sleeps in the corner (along with the listener) while those two talk about PDO with on air guests like Thomas Drance. It's a ratings killer that will lead to more of those adds offering testimonials for what advertising on "the fan 960 can do for your business" since there are no real ads to air.
Steinberg could likely do it if he was a clear #2 behind someone with a sense of humor who could direct the conversation better.
