Usually the team that gets the best player wins a trade long term and that is likely Buffalo if Kane clicks with whoever they get (McDavid likely).

Myers - Bogosian is a wash IMO, but Myers probably has a bit more upside. Stafford is a stop-gap forward for this season. Kane wouldn't have played another game this season after his surgery, so getting Stafford is better than being without Kane for the rest of the season. They can always combine their own 1st with the one they are getting (probably between 20 and 25 or so) to trade up. Armia is having a good AHL season, he'll probably be NHL ready next season. And Brendan Lemieux also has potential to be an effective player down the road.
Unless Kane becomes a 40 goal scorer alongside McDavid or Eichel, I think this one is a huge win for Winnipeg.
