- It sounds like currently guys get pairs of tickets for games. What if people just went together? That way with 3 likely home playoff games, 6 of the 7 people each get to see a game.

I should have added that each draft pick will be per seat, not for the pair. So every ticket stays within the group.
I also figured out how to deal with the home ice advantage issue. I am treating any game 7 differently than the main draft. If we do have a game 7, I'm taking one of the seats and the other one is a random draw. So there's 3 games (6 tickets) up for draft in each round regardless of home ice and then game 7s are handled differently should they occur. 24 draft picks in all regardless of home ice advantage or not.
