This is a bizarre graph, and needs a fair bit more context. And this year's version of the Flames in particular have soundly proven that they can stay afloat with poor corsi. Without context I have no idea what exactly this graph is showing, but based on these results when compared to a basic 50/50 chance graph (
here) it looks like far too much emphasis has been placed on corsi.
