That said, I'd be ok with Ottawa getting a new rink downtown, as Kanata is way out there. On the other hand, friends of mine live near the rink in Kanata and their land values would likely drop, so yeah, sucks for them. |
The CFL Stadium is right downtown and its near all the government buildings, Rideau Canal etc. They are building up light rail there as well. If everyone drove it might get a bit congested but there's a ton of people around there all day so they can easily handle it with a bit of congestion.
